PT Arena Agro Andalan: The Only FSSC 22000-Certified Corn Grits Factory in Indonesia
PT Arena Agro Andalan (AAA) has achieved a significant milestone as the only corn grits factory in Indonesia with FSSC 22000 certification, reaffirming its commitment to food safety and quality. The certification, awarded by BSI Assurance UK Limited, ensures that the company’s corn grits production facility in Wonogiri, Central Java, meets stringent global food safety standards.

"Achieving FSSC 22000 reinforces our credibility and allows us to serve both domestic and international markets with even greater confidence."
The FSSC 22000 certification integrates ISO 22000:2018, ISO/TS 22002-1:2009, and additional FSSC 22000 Version 6 requirements, providing a comprehensive framework for food safety management. Covering cleaning and milling processes under the CIV - Processing of Ambient Stable Products category, this certification highlights the company’s commitment to excellence in food production.
Valid from January 4, 2025, to January 3, 2028, the certification requires mandatory unannounced audits, further ensuring compliance with international safety standards. As a leading agro-industrial company, AAA specializes in processing staple crops into premium starch and derivatives. Founded in 2010, it operates advanced facilities in Kalimantan and Wonogiri, Central Java, processing over 365,000 metric tons of corn annually under the Mekar Mas brand. The company continues expanding its international presence, supplying essential food and feed ingredients to markets including India, the Philippines, South Korea, Turkey, Mexico, and Malaysia. On January 16, 2025, AAA exported 200 tons of corn germ to India, reinforcing its role in global supply chains.
